CARLA SEYFARTH NAMED NJCAA D3 NATIONAL SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Middlesex College freshman Carla Seyfarth got her career off to a fantastic start and she has now been recognized nationally for her excellence.

The first basemen from South Brunswick, NJ was named the NJCAAA Division 3 National Softball Player of the Week after leading the Colts to wins in three of their first four games.

In a doubleheader split with Lehigh Carbon, Seyfarth went 5-8 with two runs, five RBIs and a triple. She followed that up by going 5-7 with four runs, four RBIs, a homer and a double in a doubleheader sweep over Camden CC.

Seyfarth batted .666 for the week and added one walk and didn't strike out over 16 plate appearances.
